Frying is a cooking technqiue where food is fully or partially immersed in hot oil. For frying, a deep, heavy bottom pot like the Le Creuset Dutch Oven with tall sides is ideal. Fill the pot one third to two-thirds full with frying oil and heat it between 350 to 375 degrees Farenheit. Dredge your ingredients as per your recipe and carefully submerge it away from your body and into the pot. Fry until the food is golden brown and fully cooked then remove it and drain on a paper towel or cooling rack. For a shallow fry, heat enough oil to cover the bottom of a Le Creuset Iron Handle Skillet over medium to medium-high heat. Dredge the ingredients as per the recipe and carefully lay food away from you into the oil using tongs. Fry until it is golden brown on one side, then flip it over and fry until the other side is also golden brown and cooked through. Remove the food and place on a cooling rack to remove any excess oil. Season and serve.
