How to Debone a Chicken Thigh

To debone a chicken thigh, start by placeing the chicken thighs skin side down on a cutting board. Cut along the thigh bone in short bursts then cut along each side of the bone. The long, thin blade of a Le Creuset Carving Knife makes easy work of deboning. Slide the knife under the bone releasing it from the flesh then cut each end to remove it. Ensure all the cartilage is removed and it's ready for cooking. Deboning a chicken thigh takes some work, but it's a useful trick to know when break down a full chicken or when your recipe calls for it.
