  • 16 cups (4 L) dry white wine (Riesling)
  • 2-4 cinnamon sticks
  • 10-12 cloves
  • 4-6 star anise
  • 6- 8 cardamom pods
  • 1 cup (250 ml) Brandy, optional
  • 2 oranges, sliced
  • ½ cup (125 ml) cranberries
  • 2-4 sprigs rosemary
  • To taste maple syrup, honey, sugar, optional

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine wine, spices, additional liquor if desired, fruit and rosemary in a large Dutch Oven.

If a sweeter mulled wine if preferred add a sweetener.

Bring the mixture to a boil. Simmer for 2 hours. Serve warm.
