No, stoneware products should not be in contact with direct heat. They can be used in the oven up to 260°C /500°F as well as in a broiler or microwave without issue.
Can I put it in the freezer?
Yes, you can freeze prepared food in this dish. We recommend not placing a frozen dish of food in a pre-heated oven. You should place the frozen dish in a cold oven and set the temperature, allowing the dish and oven to heat together to avoid thermal shock or cracks.
