- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp instant yeast
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cup warm water

Mix flour, yeast and salt. Add water and stir with silicone spoon. Cover and let it rise overnight.

On a floured surface, fold the dough over once or twice then cover with plastic wrap for 15 minutes.

With floured hands, create a ball shape. Coat a cotton kitchen towel with flour and place the dough on it seam side down. Cover and let it rise for 2 hours.

Preheat the oven to 450F (230C) with the French Oven in it. Remove the pot and turn the dough into it seam side up. Cover with lid and bake for 30 minutes.

Remove the lid and bake for another 15-30 minutes until the loaf is a dark golden colour.

Add olive and rosemary, cheddar and/or bacon to bread recipe. Combine with ingredients at step 1.
